Antique ivory furniture echoes the aristocratic salons of old Kairouan. Awatef is the most formal of the chambers — a room for an unhurried evening and a slow morning coffee in the courtyard.
Historical note
Its furniture was assembled from three houses of the medina's notable families, reunited here by the restoration.
